Newspapers are the source of savings for groceries. The Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News have the Smart Source coupons each week and Proctor & Gamble on the 1st Sunday of each month. So, if you haven't taken advantage of some of the recent newspaper deals, you're going to want to this time.
You can get 1 Copy of the Sunday Paper for an ENTIRE YEAR for $19.99! Normally it costs $64 for an entire year. That's only $.39 per paper!!

One a penny, Two a penny
Welcome to my money saving blog. Hopefully you will find some of the things I post here helpful in your quest to save money. Over the last few months I have been using a lot of coupons and saved my family a great deal of money on our grocery bills and saved myself a lot of headaches and anxiety at the check out stand. I thought, hey, if I'm having this much success saving money and building up our storage than anyone can. So, I want to share the things I learn with all of you and I'll link you to my super great sources so you can save money to.
Occasionally, Smith's will do a double coupon event which will take all of your coupons that are less than $1 and automatically make their value $1. (i.e. $.25 = $1, $.50 = $1) so you can save a lot of money with coupons alone, but...Smith's also has amazing sales during this time. Combine the sales with your coupons and we're talking mega money savings.
Smith's double coupon promotion starts TOMORROW!!! Yep, August 25 @ 6am. ALL Smith's stores will be participating so get your coupon scissors ready. Here is a starter list of HOT ITEMS:
